Around The Bend is a big family drama with all the right moves and a great cast. It doesn't work, really, but the mere presence of Christopher Walken -- as always -- keeps the thing watchable.

Josh Lucas plays a banker named Jason, a steady guy trying to care for his little boy (Jonah Bobo) and his elderly grandfather (Michael Caine), a former archeologist whose bedroom is littered with old skulls and other artifacts.
