Between Strangers has an amazing ensemble cast -- Sophia Loren, Pete Postlethwaite, Mira Sorvino, Deborah Kara Unger, Malcolm McDowell, Klaus Maria Brandauer, Gerard Depardieu and Wendy Crewson. Impressive.

Everything else about the movie is dreadful.
