Between The Moon And Montevideo is a fairy tale of the future that's -- natch -- actually about the present. The story is set on a space colony that floats somewhere between Earth and the moon, and all the characters are as raw and grungy as the wreck of a place they inhabit.

The hero, Tobi (filmmaker Attila Bertalan) is a scrap dealer planning his escape from the dread colony. He wants to get back to Earth. Tobi is tough, smart and knows enough to keep his mouth shut. Escape can only be achieved by giving mysterious Russians on the colony a lot of money for a rocket ride home. First, Tobi has to find the Russians.
