This time-wasting, comedy caper flick is based on the novel by crime specialist Elmore Leonard. But don't let that fool you. This movie owes little to Leonard. Compared to the screen versions of his Get Shorty, Out Of Sight, Hombre, 3:10 To Yuma and the brilliant Jackie Brown, Bounce is laughably mediocre.
