The Walt Disney animation machine does it again. This time, it's big and it's brown, it's hairy and it's scary.
Resonating like a new millennium Bambi, with some intense bits that might frighten impressionable youngsters, Brother Bear is middle-brow fare (which opens tomorrow). It is not as good as the Disney classic The Lion King, but it is better than failures such as Pocahontas, with which it shares some territory.
