The Burial Society concerns an unlikely criminal and all the mysteries of Chevrah Kadisha -- the Judaic Burial Society.

Sheldon Kasner (Rob LaBelle) is a meek loans manager at the Hebrew National Bank. One day he turns up in a small town and asks the rabbi where he might find the men of the Burial Society. He wants to join up, he claims, to make a change in his life.
