A boob-fest in more ways than one, Club Dread is the latest from Broken Lizard, a film-making comedy troupe best known for a previous modest hit, the cheapie Police Academy via Animal House retread Super Troopers.
The bad about Super Troopers was that it was so derivatively lowbrow that looking for fresh ground was like a Mars probe seeking life signs. The good was that the Broken Lizard gang digs so low for comic gold, you were guaranteed some cheap laughs almost by accident.
