It is difficult, if not impossible, to see the interesting oddity, Chocolat, and not want to run out and gorge on treats.

In terms of triggering a gastronomic response, Chocolat is up there with other sensuous food-themed films such as Babette's Feast, Tampopo, Eat Drink Man Woman and Like Water For Chocolate.
