Movie Review: Exit Wounds

Run for Exit
If you're heading to the new Steven Seagal film Exit Wounds to see Calgary's very own Centre Street Bridge, which is featured prominently in commercials promoting the action flick, there are a few things you should keep in mind.

First off, you can see the bridge in real life for free and at any time as it is actually located in Calgary somewhere, I'm fairly certain, around Centre Street.

Exit Wounds painful yet compelling
The temptation with any Steven Seagal movie is to write the whole thing off as a simple piece of crap.

Exit Wounds, however, is a complicated piece of crap in which Seagal's characteristic buffoonery is offset by a strong support cast and some beautifully choreographed fight scenes. This is another shoot-'em-up cop undertaking and fairly putrid in both conception and execution. Still, you can't stop looking at it.
