In Foolproof, a trio of close friends -- played by Ryan Reynolds, Kristin Booth and Joris Jarsky -- amuse themselves by planning the perfect crime. It's like a hobby or an intellectual exercise. They pick a spot to rob, make a detailed plan, go over all aspects of security and safe-cracking and getaway, and then go through the motions. No crime takes place. It's just for fun, and for the satisfaction of proving to themselves that they can outwit everybody.
