Despite its thin veneer of grit, deep down the bar-rock fable Goldirocks is as hardcore as a puppy. And it arguably has that much in common with the hipster T.O. rock scene it purports to portray in fictional terms.

It also has, as its saving grace, a star who's cuter than a puppy. That would be Sasha Ormond, an undiscovered luminescence who whips this little low-budget love letter to Lee's Palace into something better than it otherwise is.
