Ice Age is an absolute gas to look at. Somebody savvy in the technical aspects of animation can probably tell you why, but even the uninitiated can attest that this one is a cut above.
Filmmaker Chris Wedge calls Ice Age, "three prehistoric mammals and a baby," and that's an apt description.
