Joe Somebody is an amalgam of comedy, drama, pathos and dumbfoundingly meaningless characters, all stuck together in what appears to be an attempt to show off Tim Allen's wide and impressive acting range. To be or not to be, we must say.
Allen plays Joe Scheffer, a mild-mannered employee at a pharmaceutical company. He's an everyman type. He's quiet, sad to be divorced, a loving father, a nice guy.
