Telling the same story more than once from distinctly different perspectives is a rare but repeated approach in filmmaking. John McTiernan's recent military mystery Basic used the technique, though not very well.

The British Lawless Heart, from co-directors and co-writers Neil Hunter and Tom Hunsinger, does a much better job.
