A quality writer, Brad Fraser's reputation as a bad-boy playwright is largely based on his willingness to write fairly explicit gay and straight sex into his plays.

If he's as badly misjudged on this account as he says, then he's found his niche in movies, because what scandalizes a live audience is no big thing on screen. Well okay, his directorial debut Leaving Metropolis is worth an R, and you won't want to take grandma. But you can see two guys do the nasty on cable series like Six Feet Under.
