The Life Before This is a bad movie with a good premise and a strong ensemble cast led by Sarah Polley, Stephen Rea, Catherine O'Hara and Joe 'Pants' Pantoliano.
Which makes it incredibly frustrating. This could have been a powerful and inspiring piece of cinema.
