There's a scene in Lovely And Amazing that burns itself into the brain, and says more about women and body-image issues in a smart and funny two minutes than an entire season of shows like Sex And The City.
The scene involves the neurotic Elizabeth (Emily Mortimer), an actress who ends up sleeping with a Tom Cruise-like egomaniacal movie-star (Dermot Mulroney) who'd earlier nixed her for a role because she "wasn't sexy."
