It's a safe call to say that the unrelentingly lightweight Maybe Baby will not soon be inducted into that pantheon. This so-called romantic comedy somehow wastes an impressive cast of otherwise talented British comics and actors, all of whom are instantly recognizable by fans of Brit film and television: Hugh Laurie, Joely Richardson, Emma Thompson, Rowan Atkinson, Joanna Lumley and Dawn French.
