There are movies that do things in an entirely new way -- and about which there can be no consensus. Then there are films that do tried-and-true so superbly it's as if they have reinvented them.
Everyone in Hollywood, it seems, agrees about Narc. This is, after all, the made-in-Toronto movie that would have died from lack of funding had not the likes of Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford and Warren Beatty seen it in private screenings.
