Orange County is not Citizen Kane. Heck, it's not even American Pie. But it is a teen comedy with enough smarts (more than your average puppy dog) to make it worth seeing.

The movie is also a curiosity piece because it is bustling with second generation Hollywood talent. The director is Jake Kasdan, son of Lawrence Kasdan of The Big Chill fame. The lead actor is Colin Hanks, son of Tom Hanks. The lead actress is Schuyler Fisk, daughter of Sissy Spacek and Jack Fisk, a film production designer and director.
