Mayhem, murder fail in bid to assassinate love

For a love story, Our Lady Of The Assassins has a lot of killing -- close to a dozen, actually.

The film, arguably director Barbet Schroeder's best since 1990's Oscar-nominated Reversal Of Fortune, stars German Jaramillo as a cynical, erudite, middle-aged author named Fernando, who returns to his Colombian home town of Medellin to die.
