A work of art
In Pollock, Ed Harris' directorial debut, he explores the pain of creating art, and the greater despair in living and dying tragically. This is the story of the famed but doomed U.S. abstract artist Jackson Pollock.

In this difficult vanity project, Harris casts himself in the title role. Marcia Gay Harden appears as Pollock's artist-wife Lee Krasner. Together, in exceptional Oscar-nominated performances, they bring to life the tortured genius of Pollock.
