The nightmare of adolescence is played for laughs in Prom Wars, a Canadian teen comedy about young love and rival private schools. Prom Wars is cute and it's funny, and -- except for the bad language-- it plays like an after-school TV movie. You know, movie-lite. Not that that's always a bad thing.
