Road To Perdition is a Depression-era story set in Chicago. It concerns mob families and other sorts of families, but don't expect the usual shoot-'em-ups of gangster films.
Visually fascinating, this one is an often intense character study about fathers and sons, loyalty and duty. That the family business can involve shooting people in the head does add a certain mood to it all.
