The plot, themes and characters of Grisham's Runaway Jury are not a far cry from what he spun out in The Rainmaker, A Time to Kill or The Chamber.

With the Runaway Jury, however, a strong cast and plenty of action add up to a terrific diversion. The ending is full-on cheese nonsense, but all that goes before it is brisk, glossy, swell entertainment.
