Yesterday's Toronto Sun had an interview with Freddie Prinze Jr. about the exigencies of working on the movie Scooby-Doo. Prinze made it clear that getting his dark hair dyed repeatedly to play the blond, pale, Fred Jones of cartoon fame was quite a challenge.
No doubt getting live people to play cartoon characters is a process fraught with thespian complexity, not that we give a stuff. In the case of Scooby-Doo, we just want to know why you'd bother in the first place. Oh, yeah! Money! Silly us.
