Movie Review: Score

The Score in harmony
There are several things to like about The Score, foremost among them a rock-solid performance from Robert De Niro. It's been a while.

The Score, directed by Frank Oz, is a character study dressed up as a heist caper. De Niro plays a professional, successful thief who works alone and maintains a legit life as a club owner in Montreal. He has a girlfriend (Angela Bassett, terrific as always) and he is seriously thinking of retiring from thievery forever.
