Long shot a real winner
If you've never heard about the legend of real-life long shot 1930s racehorse Seabiscuit -- which is hard to believe given the success of the best-selling 2001 book, Seabiscuit: An American Legend -- don't fret.

In a way it's more fun knowing nothing about the subject before seeing Seabiscuit. Director Gary Ross, the screenwriter behind Big and Dave, has turned this story into a big old-fashioned Hollywood epic.
