There's something about Ashley Judd on the big screen that gives a viewer faith in the proceedings, and so it is in Someone Like You, a romantic comedy that stars Judd as a single woman in the big city.
Based on the novel Animal Husbandry by Laura Zigman, Someone Like You is a modern fable about looking for love in all the wrong places, and so forth. Judd plays a producer on a daytime talk show -- a show hosted by a female shark type played nicely by Ellen Barkin.
