Let us begin by explaining that Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron is a movie for children or animation fanatics, and, as such, is most worthy of a five-star rating.

(Actually, at least one seven-year-old girl has suggested that the movie get a rating of "One billion out of five," which makes perfect sense to kids, as does this movie.)

Technically it combines traditional hand-painted animation with computer animation, achieving some stunning results. The backgrounds are magnificent and breathtaking.
