American writer-director Pete Jones' tear-jerker family drama Stolen Summer is more interesting for how it came about than for how it plays on screen.

This is the film that won Project Greenlight, the brainchild of Oscar-winning screenwriters Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, who also happen to be friends and movie stars, of course.
