It's to the credit of the talent involved with the new coming-of-age movie Tadpole that it isn't off-putting or downright perverse.

After all, the film is about a bright 15-year-old kid who falls in love with his own, fortysomething stepmother. And while he's trying to court her, he manages to sleep with her fortysomething, Mrs. Robinson-ish best friend, whose own circle of pals find him sexually appealing. At times, Tadpole plays like a horny teenaged boy's fantasy.
