Thunderbirds may be "Go!" but they will soon be gone. It is difficult to imagine this retro-movie attracting a huge audience in theatres, although it will probably do better in the future on DVD.
As directed by actor-filmmaker Jonathan Frakes (of Star Trek: The Next Generation fame), this is the live-action version of the 1960s British TV series (and its spin-off movies), which featured marionettes manipulated on miniature sets. Series creator Gerry Anderson even coined a phrase for the technique: Supermarionation.
