To Walk With Lions is good, old-fashioned, Hollywood-style schmaltz, the kind of larger-than-life fable that Americans used to churn out without shame.
But this is a Canada-Britain-Kenya co-production and the producers cannot even get it distributed in the U.S.. The release here, after playing on the filmfest circuit, marks the film's commercial debut.
