The over-the-top work characteristic of Jerry Bruckheimer and Joel Schumacher have made the filmmakers' names synonymous with wretched excess at the movies.

Their latest collaboration, Veronica Guerin, is a film about the real-life Irish journalist who was assassinated a few years ago by the Dublin drug lords she exposed in her Sunday Independent column.
