Ed Robertson's Toronto band, the Barenaked Ladies, released this statement on their website yesterday following a float plane crash he was involved in near Bancroft, Ont. over the weekend.
"As we're sure many have heard already Ed and three passengers were involved in a plane crash yesterday," said the statement. "We just want to let all of our fans know that, thankfully, everyone on board was completely unharmed. Thank you to all those who have already reached out and sent their kind words and well wishes."
Robertson's management in Vancouver said yesterday that's the only comment they would be making at this time.
An earlier Sun Media report said the plane, being flown by Robertson, went down in the trees west of Baptiste Lake early Sunday afternoon.
