Fleetwood Mac plans new album
By WENN.com

Rock legends Fleetwood Mac are planning to follow their comeback tour with a brand new album.

The band kicked off Unleashed - their first tour in five years - in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania last week.

And drummer Mick Fleetwood insists they're not bidding farewell to fans just yet - they intend to head straight from the stage to the recording studio this autumn.

He reveals, "I have three hairs left. If they don't all fall out following the tour, we've talked about recording again. I don't think we want to just sit around for another five years. We're all healthy, we still have loads of energy. Plus, some of us still have mortgages to pay."

The group were famous hellraisers during their Sixties heyday, and their history is littered with tales of alcohol and drug abuse - but Fleetwood insists this tour is tame in comparison to previous adventures, because the bandmembers are all too old to party hard.

He adds, "The days of putting up silver paper over the windows to keep the sunlight out are well and truly over. There's not much 'partaying' (sic) anymore. We still have fun... sitting around sharing old war stories but nothing crazy. Most of us are in our 60s with kids."
