Marilyn Manson threatens writers

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson is threatening to kill journalists who take aim at him in interviews after a L.A. Weekly reporter recently suggested the star was a paranoid cocaine user in an article.

Manson took offence to writer Travis Keller's piece and has issued a warning to hacks who publish "cavalier statements" about him or his band in a sinister MySpace.com blog.

The rocker promises to avenge any such articles by visiting the writers at home.

He rages, "If one more 'journalist' makes a cavalier statement about me and my band, I will personally, or with my fans' help, greet them at their home and discover just how much they believe in their freedom of speech.

"I dare you all to write one more thing that you won't say to my face. Because I will make you say it. In that manner. That is a threat."

In the L.A. Weekly article, Keller recalls meeting Manson in 2007 and states the Rock Is Dead singer opened their dialogue by asking, "Can you get us some cocaine?"

Keller writes, "I remember thinking, 'He's going to come out with some kind of cape on'. I'd never met him before and thought he'd be hanging out in a coffin. He's nothing like that."

The reporter went on to reveal Manson dubbed his girlfriend at the time Snowflake, because "when they played shows, she'd hold all the coke."
