The airplane carrying Scott Weiland from Los Angeles to Florida was forced to make an emergency landing in Dallas, Texas on Friday after the rocker suffered a seizure onboard.

The Stone Temple Pilots frontman was on his way to Miami, Florida when he experienced the health scare.

According to TMZ.com, the pilot landed the aircraft at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Weiland was taken to a local hospital for precautionary measures.

The star, who allegedly has a history of seizures, is still expected to attend the launch of his fashion line Weiland for English Laundry in Miami on Saturday.
