Usher stalling divorce settlement?
Bookmark and Share

Usher isn't taking inspiration from his latest track Papers - the star is reportedly stalling his divorce from Tameka Foster by failing to sign official documents.

The Yeah! hitmaker split from Foster earlier this year after two years of marriage. The pair filed for divorce in June.

On Monday, the singer released new song Papers on his official website, which features lyrics about how the star is "ready to sign those papers," in reference to the divorce.

However, Usher is still to put pen to paper on legally binding documents, preventing his former partner from receiving an agreed settlement, according to RadarOnline.com.

An insider tells the website, "Tameka thinks that it's ironic that 'Papers' is his comeback single when she just wants him to sign the paperwork and finalize the divorce.

"The terms and conditions have been agreed on for around a month but he keeps stalling on them, and she's the one that wants to move on with her life."

The pair has two sons, Usher Raymond V, one, and 10 month old Naviyd.
