Usher called the police on his estranged wife Tameka Foster after she allegedly turned up at his mother's house following a heated "custody dispute" last month.

The Yeah! singer filed for divorce from the former stylist in June, demanding joint custody of their sons - Usher Raymond V, 22 months, and Naviyd, 10 months.

The split turned nasty on September 10 when the ex-couple became embroiled in a "verbal argument" over the phone regarding weekend custody.

In a police report obtained by TMZ.com, Usher claims he dropped his sons off at his mother's house after the bitter conversation and returned home - only for Foster to arrive "demanding to take the kids".

She soon left his property and he returned to his mom's home - where Foster showed up moments later and began "knocking on the door" and repeatedly phoning their landline.

Usher and his mother ignored Foster's calls, but they eventually called the cops when she refused to leave.

According to officers from the Johns Creek Police Department in Georgia, Foster was no where to be seen when police arrived on the scene.

The R&B hitmaker made an official complaint against Foster the following day when he discovered scratches on his truck - and accused his ex of taking her anger out on his vehicle.

In the criminal trespass complaint, the attending cop says, "Mr. Raymond believes the damage to the vehicle may be in relation or response to that (custody argument) incident..."

The officer notes "scratches on the drivers (sic) side of the vehicle", but failed to find any evidence to suggest Foster had been on the property.

Police refused to pursue the claims because there were no witnesses to the alleged crime - and it was later discovered the truck was actually registered to Foster.

Now Foster has stepped forward to blast Usher's accusations, insisting she is the victim and not the perpetrator.

In a statement released to TMZ.com, her rep says, "This is just another attempt to disparage Tameka. It's simply an angry ploy that has no merit.

"Tameka's own truck was scratched but it's not clear how. The truck is registered in her name, it's not even Usher's car. Why would she vandalize her own vehicle?"
