Oasis rocker downplays feud

Liam Gallagher is attempting to mend his broken relationship with brother NOEL by insisting he "loves him to death" - after previously blasting the guitarist in a series of interviews.

Oasis split over the summer following a furious argument between the singer and his sibling backstage at a gig in France.

Liam subsequently boasted to the press that the duo's notoriously turbulent relationship was over for good, while promoting his clothing range Pretty Green.

But he insists he's just been making his side of the story known to the public - because Noel has been busy doing the same.

He tells Sky News, "I'm just being honest. People (reporters) are asking me about what I'm doing and I'm telling it how it is. People forget that he's been speaking about me in recent things and they think that I'm the one who's blabbing."

Liam insists the final bust-up wasn't as explosive an event as it was portrayed in the media - and admits he'll always have a bond with his brother.

He adds, "He is doing his thing and we are doing our thing. I wish him all the best... but don't release (an album) the same day as us 'cause we'll have (outsell) you! But I don't wish him anything bad. He's my brother and I love him to death. We didn't really speak that much (before falling out). He was doing his thing, I was doing my thing and we only met onstage."
