Fergie wants a baby after tour

Fergie. (WENN.COM)

Black Eyed Peas star Fergie is planning to start a family with husband Josh Duhamel as soon as the band's current tour is over.

The Boom Boom Pow hitmakers are midway through a global trek which is due to conclude in Vancouver, Canada on 11 April.

And Fergie reveals she's planning some time off after the concerts come to an end to concentrate on having a baby.

She says, "Am I getting broody? Oh, definitely! But I want to finish this tour first before trying to start a family. We're never going to be at this time of our lives again so we have to make the most of it."

The singer also admits she can't wait to spend some quality time with her husband when the tour ends, because it's a lonely life on the road without him.

She adds, "It's been a lovely year, but I'm missing him now as I'm on tour. It's a month since we saw each other, but we talk every day. It helps that Josh is in showbiz, too."
