Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has yet to decide whether or not to continue the band in the wake of bass player Paul Gray's death.
The masked singer insists the May tragedy is still something that haunts him and he needs more time to recover from his friend and bandmate's overdose before he can make a decision about the future of Slipknot.
He says, "It's kind of a grey area right now. Everybody is still feeling it. It's too soon to tell. I'm very conflicted about whether or not I want to do anything with Slipknot, because, to me, Paul was such an integral part of the band. He was the whole reason that the band was the way it was.
"Paul was the glue and the orchestrator behind some of the best music we ever wrote. He was the soul of the band.
"Right now, it just doesn't make sense (to continue). Until it does, that's the way it stays for me."
Drummer Joey Jordison recently insisted there would be more Slipknot music eventually, and he now reveals to ThePulseofRadio.com that he and bandmate Shawn Crahan have started to "map out the game plan".

Despite Taylor's comments, he says, "There is another Slipknot record already kinda in the making. We're getting timelines set and, you know, it's gonna be a little bit but there's definitely another record. Paul would always want us to make another record. He wouldn't want the band to stop."
