Britney Spears thrilled fans in Las Vegas on Friday night by playing a surprise show at a Sin City nightclub.
The pop superstar, who is preparing to launch her new album Femme Fatale, took to the stage at Rain Nightclub in the Palms Casino & Resort to showcase a number of tracks from the record.
She confirmed the show just hours beforehand with a post on her Twitter.com page and encouraged fans in the area to come down to watch, writing, "You're all invited. Be there or be square b----!"
Spears performed tracks including her hit Hold It Against Me, 3 and Till The World Ends, as well as a remix of new song Big Fat Bass which included I'm A Slave 4 U and Gimme More.
The show marks Spears' first live performance since her The Circus tour came to an end in 2009.
