Singer Sheryl Crow has been awarded a temporary restraining order against a crazed fan.

The 'All I Wanna Do' hitmaker filed papers asking a Los Angeles judge for an order of protection last week after Phillip Gordon Sparks accused Crow of stealing money from him and reportedly threatened to harm the star in a series of angry posts online.

The 45-year-old Sparks has now been banned from coming within 100 yards (91 metres) of the singer or making contact with Crow, any of her relatives, friends and colleagues.

A hearing to extend the order has been set for August 14, reports Eonline.com.
