50 Cent compares Pauly D to Guetta

Hip-hop mogul 50 Cent has tipped reality TV star DJ Pauly D for the top of the charts, insisting his forthcoming album is full of hits similar to those recorded by dance music sensation David Guetta.

The In Da Club hitmaker signed Pauly D, real name Paul DelVecchio, to his G-Note Records last year and the Jersey Shore regular is currently working on his debut project - the first of three on the label.

Pauly D has already hit the studio with rapper Big Sean, and 50 Cent insists fans will love the DJ's sound, because it's got the same vibe as French star Guetta's and rap collaborator DJ Khaled's.

He tells Eonline.com, "Pauly is putting his album together now and it's going to be great. The only thing I can do to create a comparison or to compare his music to is David Guetta or... DJ Khaled. It's that type of (sound). It's coming together good (sic)."

Pauly D, who opened for Britney Spears on her North American tour last year, is expected to release his album in early 2013.
