Paris Jackson sparks Twitter war

Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris became public enemy number one for One Direction fans on Thursday night when she revealed she would be voting for Justin Bieber to win at next week's MTV Video Music Awards.

The famous teen admitted she feared MTV bosses were "rigging" the awards show for the British group, and she wanted to give Bieber a fighting chance.

She tweeted, "Im (sic) voting for justin... there's no way MTV isn't rigging it for 1D."

But her remarks didn't sit well with One Direction fans, who turned on her online.

Stunned by the response, Paris returned to Twitter.com and wrote, "OHMYGOD guys i like one direction jeez just because i didn't vote for them doesn't mean i hate them wtf (what the f---) (sic)."

And, as the war of words between fans continued, the teenager added, "i really do respect the directioner's (fans') loyalty to 1D & also the belieber's loyalty to justin... but is it really worth fightin over!? lmao (laugh my a-- off)."

Paris cut out of the pop star debate hours later with the tweet, "wtf jeez im done with this."

One Direction and Bieber will go head to head for trophies at the MTV VMAs next Thursday night.
