Wings song Live And Let Die has been named the best Bond theme of all time.

The track, composed by Sir Paul McCartney and his late wife Linda for the opening and closing credits of Sir Roger Moore's debut outing as 007 in 1973, has topped a new BBC Radio poll.

Carly Simon's Nobody Does It Better - the theme tune to 1977's The Spy Who Loved Me - comes in second place, and Goldfinger by Dame Shirley Bassey is third.

The survey was commissioned as part of the celebrations to mark the 50th anniversary of the first Bond movie, Dr. No, next month.
