Winehouse's ex relieved she didn't OD

Amy Winehouse's ex-husband is "relieved" the star didn't die of a drug overdose, because he feels to blame for introducing her to dangerous narcotics.

The Back to Black hitmaker, who died in July 2011 from alcohol poisoning, fell into a life of drugs and drink after marrying Blake Fielder-Civil in 2007.

Her family and fans blamed him for bring class-A drugs into her life, and now Fielder-Civil has finally admitted he was the one who first got the singer hooked - but his guilt over her death was lessened after hearing that drugs had no involvement in the tragedy.

Fielder-Civil tells Britain's The Sun, "I don't know whether it absolves my guilt or responsibility. But it meant I didn't kill my ex-wife.

"I was the one who brought drugs into the relationship. When the toxicology results came back I was relieved there were no drugs in her system."
